ABOUT DEMI
At just 16, Demi Chalkias was a top-performing triathlete, competing at the World Qualifiers and securing a remarkable 6th-place finish—despite suffering a severe hip injury. The injury ultimately forced her early retirement from the sport, but Demi’s competitive drive never wavered. She channeled her relentless determination into her other passion: racing.
Starting in karting, Demi quickly progressed through the ranks, excelling in high-performance driving and racing academies before making her leap into car racing.
Today, Demi Chalkias is a multi-championship-winning Canadian race car driver, breaking barriers and redefining possibilities for women in motorsports. As the first female to win her championships and compete in select series, she has been a trailblazer for over a decade—advocating for equality, representation, and the next generation of racers.
Demi’s journey is featured in the full-length documentary The Car Knows No Difference, streaming on TSN+ and soon to be released on additional global platforms.
Beyond the track, Demi is a sought-after speaker and brand ambassador, helping companies grow their exposure through impactful storytelling, online engagement, and in-person marketing. Whether behind the wheel or in front of an audience, she continues to push boundaries and inspire others to chase their dreams—no matter the obstacles.
